Feeling Rosy

Thanks to the new Rose Gold iPhone 6s, and one of Pantone's new colors of the year (hello, Rose Quartz), we seem to be seeing the world through rose colored glasses. Everything from accessories, lip hue, and even other forms of apparel are turning to this rosy shade. We'll definitley be seeing alot more of it come 2016. Personally, I've always loved this shade. Maybe because it reminds me of a nice Summer's bubbly Rosé. I've had a few long time, and new faves tucked away in my closet, makeup drawer, and jewelry chest.

Rose Quartz Polish

One of my favorite online stores to purchase nail lacquer is Julep! Their polishes rival the coveted Butter London looks, and they usually only need one coat and are fast drying. Not to mention, they are certified 5-free, meaning that they are free of the toxins normally found in nail polish products. You can choose to be part of their subscription box or "Maven" rewards system, or purchase their polishes and other beauty products individually. I happened to get the January birthstone inspired "Rose Quartz" Color and fell in love. It is a tad brighter than actual rose quartz as you can see, but it's meant to make a statement. Other rose colored shades from Julep are Twiggy and Linnea. For a true rose gold nail look from Deborah Lippman and others, find my top 3 picks in my Wardrobe.

Classic Rose Gold Jewelry

I have a small rose gold pendant in the shape of, you guessed it, a rose. I often find it hard to wear. Getting your jewelry flawlessly coordinated to your outfit isn't always easy, especially when your wardrobe mostly consists of black, as mine does. When acessorizing with rose gold, you absolutely cannot go wrong with cream or navy! Nothing is as timeless as a rose gold timepiece. My top pick would be a beautiful watch by Marc Jacobs, though, I'm not much of a watch-wearer myself. I absolutely do adore Kate Spade bangles, and there is quite a selection in rose gold at the moment! If you're a Kendra Scott fan, you'll want to add some rose gold druze peices into your collection.

Acessorize with Rose Gold

This is something I've yet to purchase for myself, but I can't wait to dive into this trend. Again, Kate Spade would be my go to for this girly-chic trend, with many matte rose hued purses, clutches and wallets. Or perhaps these daring shades? Truth be told, this trend is exploding and you can find this color scheme just about anywhere.

And last but not least, I'm absolutely obsessed with The Pantone Colors of the Year. I've long looked to Pantone for color guides for home and apparel but BOTH colors this year are truly exceptional. I just had to treat myself to a gift of Sephora + Pantone's exclusive partnership lip color, and it is the perfect neutral rosy pink with a little something extra. It's limited edition! I clearly like it ALOT otherwise I would not have committed a major social media faux pas of double posting (oops). As far as I'm concerned, this trend can stay.
